Native development references
Checked on 13 October 2026. These references explain platform requirements and native interfaces. The Fluent Studio source is original implementation, not a copy of a commercial competitor theme.
- Theme technical requirements: source structure, metadata, fields, template types, image constraints and editor expectations.
- Marketplace policies: ownership, originality, compatibility, support and review.
- Current CMS CLI commands: lint, upload modes and account-hosted Marketplace validation. The local-preview wording is inconsistent with installed CLI 8.16.0 behaviour, so no upload-aware preview command was run for this local review.
- CLI v8 namespace and runtime changes:
hs cmscommand namespace and Node 20 minimum. - HubL variables: native page, content, request and blog context.
- Blog templates: blog listing/post, author and tag archives, multi-author context and pagination.
- Official system template examples: confirmed native template types and password, subscription, unsubscribe and search module paths.

- Theme installation: native buyer installation and eligibility.
- Official grid foundation: the non-cosmetic twelve-column
.row-fluid/.span*framework is different from decorative content styling. The policy advises custom classes for content appearance. Preserve the native layout foundation while usingsignal-*classes for the design and avoiding unnecessary!importantoverrides.

The preview command derives an account and destination, installs a separate development-server package and passes upload-file callbacks into that package. A local URL is not evidence that the operation has no account writes.
