Privacy information

Effective 13 October 2026

Fluent State is responsible for personal information it receives when you enquire about, buy or request support for Fluent Studio. Contact fluent.state.agency@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we use

We use the contact and order information you provide, such as your name, email address, order reference and purchase details, to fulfil orders, provide support, issue refunds and keep required financial records. Support messages may include an account ID, page URL, browser/device details and screenshots you choose to send. Please remove customer data and secrets from screenshots.

Why we use it

Order fulfilment and support are necessary to perform our contract with you. Financial recordkeeping and valid legal requests may require processing to meet legal obligations. Preventing fraud and investigating technical faults may rely on legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. We will ask for consent where it is required for optional marketing or non-essential cookies.

Services involved

Payments are processed by Stripe or the payment provider shown at checkout. We receive transaction records but do not need your full card number or security code. HubSpot is involved when an order or enquiry uses its Marketplace or forms. Email correspondence is handled through our Google email account. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices and may use infrastructure outside the UK. Applicable contractual and other lawful safeguards govern international transfers.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to fulfil the purchase, provide support, prevent fraud or meet legal obligations. Buying the theme or asking for support does not automatically subscribe you to promotional email.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including applicable tax, accounting and legal requirements. We restrict access and ask you never to send passwords, API keys, payment secrets or customer databases. If we require access to your HubSpot account, we will agree limited access for the relevant task.

Cookies and your own website

The documentation itself does not require advertising cookies. HubSpot-hosted pages, external media and checkout providers may use cookies or similar storage. Optional analytics or advertising must follow the choices presented on the relevant page. When you use this theme for your own business, you are responsible for your website’s privacy notice, cookie choices, forms and customer data.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or transfer your information, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent. Email us to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local supervisory authority. We will not require a fee or unnecessary personal information to consider a routine request.
