Fieldnote template terms and support

Version 12 October 2026. Save or print these terms for your records.

Seller and contact

Fieldnote is supplied by Imran Nadem trading as Fluent State, a sole trader in England. Business address: 19a Blackpool Gardens, Hillingdon UB4 8DY, United Kingdom. Email: fluent.state.agency@gmail.com.

These terms cover the Fieldnote digital Framer template. The separate Fluent State website-service packages are not part of this purchase.

What you are buying

The template costs US$79 as a one-time purchase for one website. Any applicable tax and the total payable are shown at checkout before you pay. There is no physical delivery or shipping charge. The purchase does not create a Fluent State subscription.

You receive an editable copy of the Fieldnote Framer project, including its layouts, shared components, demonstration CMS content and Start Here guide. The package contains 18 page types and ten CMS collections. Clients and Recognition are optional collections that start empty.

This is a template for you to customise. Framer hosting, a domain, paid Framer features, content writing, installation and custom design or development services are separate. No ongoing update programme or future features are included in the purchase description. This does not limit remedies for a defect in the template supplied.

Access and setup

After payment is confirmed, we send a private Framer copy link to the email address used at checkout. You need a Framer account and access to that email address. Open the link while signed in to Framer and copy the project into your workspace. Start with the Start Here page inside your copy. Keep the copy link private.

Check your checkout email address before paying. If the email does not arrive, check spam and contact us with your order reference. Do not pay again to resolve an access problem.

Framer's current plan and CMS limits determine which hosting plan your finished website needs. Replace the fictional studio, project, team and vacancy content, review the editable policy outlines for your business, configure your own enquiry destination and test it before publishing. Stock photography and fonts remain subject to their own licences. The source references in the template identify these third-party assets.

One-website licence

Your purchase gives you a non-exclusive licence to edit and use Fieldnote for one personal, business or client website. Development, preview and published versions of that same website count as one website. You may change the design, text, images, components and code for that website.

You may build the website for one client, charge for your work and hand the completed project to that client. The licence then stays with that website. You and the client may not use the same purchase for a second website. Each additional website needs a separate purchase.

You may not redistribute, share, sublicense, repackage or resell Fieldnote itself, whether unchanged or modified, as a template, starter kit, component library or competing digital product. This does not prevent handing your completed client website to that client. Keep any project-copy link private to the people working on the licensed website.

Fluent State retains rights in the original template. You retain rights in your own content. Third-party assets and the Framer platform remain subject to their respective licences and terms.

Help and defects

For a missing access email, a copy-link problem, or a fault in the template as supplied, reply to your delivery email or contact fluent.state.agency@gmail.com. Include your order reference, the affected page or component and a short description of the problem. A screenshot and steps to reproduce it can help. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or private client records.

Template support covers access and problems with the supplied template. Bespoke changes, content entry, third-party integrations and general Framer training are not included. No fixed response time or continuous support availability is promised.

If the supplied template is faulty or materially differs from its description, contact us so we can arrange an appropriate remedy. Consumer rights may include repair or replacement and, where those remedies are unavailable or are not provided within a reasonable time without significant inconvenience, a price reduction up to the full price. These rights continue after digital access begins. Consumer Rights Act 2015, sections 43 and 44.

Cancellation and refunds

If you buy as a consumer, you normally have 14 days after the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. Your contract is made when your payment is confirmed. The cancellation period ends 14 days after that day, subject to any longer period required by law.

For immediate digital access, checkout asks for your express consent to supply the template before the cancellation period ends and your acknowledgement that your cancellation right is lost once supply begins. We rely on that exception only where the required consent, acknowledgement and contract confirmation have been provided. Merely receiving a link or agreeing to general terms is not treated as proof that these requirements were met. If the exception does not apply, your applicable cancellation rights remain. For a question about delayed access, contact us before paying. UK digital-content cancellation guidance.

To cancel where you have a cancellation right, send a clear cancellation statement to the email or postal address above before the deadline. Include your name, purchase date and order reference. You may use the form below, but it is optional. We reimburse a valid cancellation without undue delay and within 14 days after being informed, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, with no refund fee. Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 34.

For a refund request concerning non-delivery, a duplicate payment or a defect, contact us with the relevant order details. We assess the request under these terms and applicable law. There is no blanket exclusion of refunds for digital purchases, and nothing here removes your statutory rights. Any mandatory rights that apply where you live are preserved.
